A Millennial’s Reflections – Take 2

All About Recruiters, Behind the Scenes
Much like my last addition to the Walrath Recruiting Blog I have been doing some more reading and thought I'd add my thoughts on the millennial in the work place this time around. In the LinkedIn article Recruiting in the Time of Millenials, author Mikal C. Harden describes her experiences in working with the millennial generation in the workplace.  First, she explains her realization about the millennial views of communicating via technology.  Even though they rarely pick up the phone to make a call, they are still able to constantly keep in touch with clients via text, social media, and email often more efficiently.  Also, she states that many of the motives for millennials differ from her traditional expectations.  She explains that they are often times more motivated by aspects…

All About Recruiters, Behind the Scenes
"We play Scattergories as a family and all of us cheat by Googling the answers", Deanna replied when I asked her what she likes to do with her mom, dad, and older brother. If something isn't very lively, she does what she can to spice it up. A member and chapter Grand Vice President of the Maids of Athena organization, Deanna is dedicated to her community as well as her position at Walrath Recruiting. She's currently studying for the PHR exam as well. She's enjoyed being a recruiter for the past two years, and continues to succeed in the…
