Location: Saratoga, NY

Description:

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join their team. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing project support, document coordination, scheduling, and assisting with marketing efforts. This is a part-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide support / assistance with timeline and budge tracking, contracts, contract amendments, project management reporting, and non-technical consultation.
  • Communicate scheduling / task responsibilities in order to coordinate project teams.
  • Assist with project organization, schedule meetings, billing issues, etc.
  • Perform administrative support for projects as necessary; file management, team correspondence, set ups, workload planning, etc.
  • Coordinate deliverables (hardcopy and electronic).
  • Provide assistance to the field teams as necessary. Purchase supplies and equipment, reconcile supplies/equipment purchase expenses, maintaining vehicle documentation, audits mileage logs for accounting, etc.
  • General office administrative support as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of project coordination experience are required. Experience in the architectural or engineering consulting industry is preferred.
  • Must be able to work on both a team and independently while promoting a service-oriented and collaborative environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat. Experience using InDesign, Photoshop, and SharePoint are a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Civil Engineer – PE License

Location: Catskill, NY

Description:

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer, preferably with their Professional Engineer (P.E.) license to join their team. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the design and drafting of original sewer, water, and septic designs. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

 The design and drafting of waste water and sewer systems, which can include but is not limited to drainage, sewers, collection systems, pumping houses, storage basins and filtration systems.

  • Collaborating with both licensed and non-licensed engineers regarding designs and installations.
  • Efficient project management of multiple projects, while meeting timely deadlines and budgetary needs.
  • Creating and maintaining quality client relationships.
  • Project reporting and documentation, communicating issues and progress to management.

 Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 5-7 years of design experience are required.
  • Candidates with 1-4 years of post-licensure experience are preferred.
  • Drafting experience is preferred.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the water and sewer design standards.
  • Familiarity with the water and sewer installation process.
  • Must be skilled in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat software.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret technical standards, specifications, and procedures.
  • Must be able to work with minimal direction.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
