Description:

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Release Coordinator who will be responsible for the day to day operations of the organization’s Release Management plan and the maintenance of source code repositories. The Release Coordinator will enforce and verify the release standards throughout various environments. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Routine Release Management operations and the development, documentation, and review of automated and manual Release Management procedures.
  • Enforce release standards including; lock down policy for controlling changes, development, testing, user signoff, production moves and documentation.
  • Installation of new software releases or patches as necessary.
  • Perform deployments as necessary to meet production schedules.
  • Provide operational support and the presentation of release metrics to identify challenges and areas for improvement.
  • Track source code through a historical library. Maintain libraries, reviewing periodically to ensure they are in sync with production areas and without the presence of unauthorized materials.
  • Assist with software product evaluations, installations, testing, and technical support for application programming.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and 5 years of programming experience and/or release or configuration management are required.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience with version control systems. VSS, CVS, Vault, or MS Team.
  • Must have 2 years of experience with build systems. Nant, Apache ant, msbuild, or make.
  • Must support the enforcement of standards for the Software Development Life Cycle, development, testing, and deployment with sign offs at each major step.
  • Documentation and tracking is mandatory, must be very detail oriented.
  • Must have Windows XP, 7, 2000, NY; Unix/Linux experience.
  • LAN systems experience is highly desired and experience with Mainframe, Mid Range servers is a plus.
  • Insurance/Retail experience is a plus.

Information Risk Manager

Location: Latham, NY

Description:

Our client is currently seeking an Information Risk Manager to manage and implement an Information Risk Assessment Program. The Information Risk Manager will be assessing internal projects in order to identify non-compliance and system vulnerabilities, document risks, and coordinate corrective and preventive activities. This is a full-time, permanent position.

They will also be conducting mini audits involving multiple people at different levels throughout the organization. They will be looking at the security controls and working with the stakeholders to find areas of risk. Candidates must have superb soft skills and possess the technical ability to speak to all levels in the organization regarding the nature of the audits they perform.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform the initial risk assessment with the assistance of the Risk analyst for projects.
  • Manage the assessment schedules, define and prioritize deliverables and milestones and ensure they are met.
  • Develop and implement risk assessment program processes. Including metrics for reporting, assessment and certification programs, security awareness and risk management training.
  • Manage the Information Risk Analyst in regards to the activities they will perform.
  • Ensure PCI-DSS compliance. Maintain Security Assessor certification, inform the necessary teams of all applicable requirements, and conduct compliance audits. This includes procurement teams and suppliers.
  • Communicate to management the organization’s risk position of information security with a thorough understanding of the organization’s risk tolerance.
  • Mentor and train teams as necessary.
  • Perform external assessments as scheduled and directed.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position.
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) Certification is a plus.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience leading IT compliance programs and testing IT control effectiveness.
  • A broad technical background and IT delivery process is preferred.
  • PCI, HIPPA, HITECH, COBIT, ISO 27001/2, and ITIL3 knowledge is preferred.
  • Self management and the ability to write detailed notes/reports from their conversations with all parties involved in the audits performed are essential qualities for this position. Previous experience performing audits is strongly desired.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Director or Senior Manager with a recurring revenue of over $5M is a must.
  • Candidates must have prior experience building and managing a sales organization in a fast track, high growth environment.
  • Must have a proven track record of success in direct, indirect, international, and large account sales. (Channel Organizations preferred)
  • Must have very strong leadership, team building, coaching and mentoring, and recruiting skills.
  • Must be comfortable making keynote presentations and sales presentations (with focus on value propositions).
  • Must understand corporate selling strategy and initiatives and understand the financial implications of decision making.
