Our client is currently seeking a CFO for their organization. This position is a full-time, permanent role located in Albany, NY. The primary responsibility of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will set financial policy and direction while also being an active participant in, and driver of, the organization’s overall strategy. S/he will lead all financial administration, business planning, and budgeting.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the departments goals and objectives
  • Collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Work closely with the organization’s President on improving efficiency quality and profitability through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assisting with the creation and execution of company strategic plans including M&A and analysis of business opportunities
  • Manage, and develop direct reports in the accounting department including payroll, A/P, A/R, purchasing, benefits administration, human resources, retirement plans and risk management
  • Preparing multiple states sales and use tax forms
  • Demonstrated ability of building efficient processes and internal controls while maintaining compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Monitor and conduct banking interaction and reconciliations
  • Coordinate audit preparation

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA and/or MBA highly desirable
  • 10+ years in progressively responsible accounting leadership roles
  • Previous work history in Construction preferred along with proficiency in Timberline, or a similar construction based accounting software
  • Candidates must be results focused with a high level of business acumen and organizational awareness with the ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and execute action plans
  • Excel / Spreadsheet expertise is required (V Lookups, pivot tables, macros)
  • Must have excellent leadership qualities, communication skills and demonstrate a high level of integrity and reliability
  • Exhibit and maintain a history of career development through participation in educational opportunities, professional publications and organizations

Director of Operations

Our client is currently seeking an experienced leader in operations management to take on a newly developed role of the Director of Operations. They will oversee organizational operations with a focus on the quality and continuous improvement of supply chain management, technical and customer service support strategies, and warehouse operations. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

Medical Director

Our client is currently seeking a medical professional who specializes in Geriatric Medicine and is experienced with the management of long-term care facilities to join their organization as the Medical Director. The Medical Director will have the primary responsibility of ensuring the high quality of medical and medically related care provided by the facility. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the quality care offered by the facility. This includes policies regarding patient rights.
  • Organizing and coordinating physician services and services offered by other professionals regarding patient/resident care.
  • Maintaining Direct Care records and reports. Ensure accurate and timely completion of records, chars, registration, transcription, documentation, etc.
  • Developing and implementing standards, policies, and procedures regarding resident care, quality assurance, and infection control. Communicating policies and procedures with physicians.
  • Monthly meetings with administration to discuss quality and safety metrics, which may include but is not limited to; injury related metrics and trends (falls, ulcers, hospitalization etc.), quality, surveys, pharmacy utilization.
  • Assist with arrangement of medical coverages and emergency care as necessary.
  • Develop and implement in-service training and educational programs for staff development. Promotion of employee health, welfare, and safety.

Qualifications:

  • A M.D. or D.O. Degree and an active Physician’s License in Massachusetts are required.
  • Board Certification in Geriatric Medicine is required.
  • Geriatric Medical experience in a Long-Term Care facility is highly preferred.

The Trust and Estates Attorney will be working with clients in order to establish trusts, draft wills, and other estate planning documents in addition to collaborating with financial managers and insurance specialists to advise clientele on retirement plans, insurance policies, and charitable contributions. Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing council regarding the secure transfer of assets via estate and trusts.

  • Drafting / preparation of estate planning documents, estate and trust fiduciary accounting and estate tax returns, power of attorney etc. Updating documents as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A Juris Doctorate Degree and at least 4 years of relevant trust and estate work experience are required.
