Location: Stillwater, NY
Our client is currently seeking a Part-Time Accounting/Administrative Clerk. The Part-Time Accounting/Administrative Clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of general and confidential office support functions. This is a part-time (10-15 hours/week), permanent position.
- Answer and direct telephone calls, record keeping, assist with mailings, filing, data entry and typing.
- Create journal entries, accept various payments and balance bank statements.
- Carry out year-end accounting duties.
- Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is highly preferred.
- Must have 5+ years of prior administrative support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management.
- NYS Notary Public highly preferred.
