Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated Software QA Manager to supervise a team of QA professionals in a fast-paced environment. The Software QA Manager will be responsible for promoting continuous quality improvement, and striving to exceed established standards and meet industry requirements. This is a full-time, permanent position.
- Provide direct and ongoing leadership to QA professionals from cross-functional teams.
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach QA professionals and establish education and development programs.
- Develop and perform tests, implement statistics and process control tools.
- Establish procedures, systems, standards for strategy and approach of ongoing deliverables.
- Mentor team members through the creation of extensive test plans and strategies.
- Standardize and maintain best practices in test planning, test plans reviews, recording and reviews of test results.
- Prepare and deliver staff performance evaluations and career development activities.
- Work closely with other leadership members to prioritize and meet deliverables.
- A Bachelor’s Degree & at least 5 years in a QA role required.
- Must have at least 3 years of leadership or management experience.
- Excellent writing, verbal, and analytical skills.
- Must be able to organize time effectively and prioritize deliverables.
- Solid understanding of QA life cycle, methodologies and best practices.
- Self-motivated, independent thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Must be highly skilled in Java, C++, or C#.
