While in attendance at the Siena College Spring Career, Internship, and Graduate College Fair this past March, we had the pleasure of meeting Deanna Socaris. At the time, the Siena grad was completing her MBA at Union Graduate College and was looking to expand her knowledge of the Human Resources field and the recruiting industry. During his visit at the University of Albany Nanoscale Science and Engineering complex earlier today, President Obama delivered a speech regarding job growth and the restoration of middle class security. In his "To-do list", the President called on congress to help put veterans to work using skills developed in the military by passing legislation  to create a Veterans Job Corps.  "Congress should help vets from Iraq and Afghanistan find good jobs when they come home."  - Barack Obama, May 8, 2012. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man & Woman of the Year Campaign has ended; the Grand Finale was held on Friday, May 4th.
