Description
Do you have 3+ years of accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting? If so, our client is seeking a Controller. This is a full-time permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
• Perform appropriate ledger, bank reconciliations, and complex analysis.
• Audit transactions and verify check amounts against invoices.
• Assist in financial statement and month-end closing process.
• Authorize checks and wire transfers.
• Implement policies and procedures and maintain the accounting policy manual.
Qualifications:
• A CPA is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 3+ years’ experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel).
• Familiarity with accounting software is needed.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Must have SEC reporting experience.
• Must have strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
