Our client is currently seeking a Dental Administrative Assistant with knowledge of dental insurance to interact with patients and manage administrative tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts
  • Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone
  • Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs
  • Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant in a dental office
  • Previous experience with providing information on dental insurance
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
