Description: Our client has retained us to recruit for an experienced Lead Insurance Operations Associate to oversee day-to-day insurance operations within their wealth management firm. This individual will serve as a liaison between advisors, clients, and insurance carriers to ensure seamless onboarding, servicing, and processing of insurance business. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in life insurance and annuities, excels in client service, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee insurance case processing from application to policy issuance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for advisors and internal teams on insurance products, underwriting, and operational procedures.
  • Manage carrier relationships and escalate service issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm guidelines for all insurance transactions.
  • Mentor and support junior operations associates and help improve workflow efficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and document management systems.
  • Coordinate with wealth advisors to align insurance strategies with overall financial plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the client experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance operations, preferably in a financial advisory or wealth management setting.
  • Strong knowledge of life, disability, long-term care insurance, and annuities.
  • Experience working with multiple carriers and platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and insurance tracking platforms.
