Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collect, review, and maintain operational, inventory, and production-related data.
- Analyze trends and performance metrics related to productivity, costs, inventory levels, and on-time delivery.
- Create reports, summaries, and dashboards to support operational decision-making.
- Monitor production capacity, workforce utilization, and output performance while maintaining data accuracy across systems.
- Support production planning activities by reviewing demand forecasts, scheduling requirements, and capacity data.
- Identify and communicate potential scheduling conflicts, material shortages, or operational constraints.
- Coordinate with operations, inventory, purchasing, and supply chain teams to support production and material planning activities.
- Assist with tracking material availability, supplier performance, lead times, and inventory requirements.
- Help identify supply chain risks, inventory concerns, and material-related issues before they impact operations.
- Support inventory management initiatives, material flow analysis, and efforts to optimize stock levels.
- Maintain accurate system data within ERP/MRP platforms related to inventory and production planning.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, documentation updates, standard procedures, and other operational projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field required; equivalent combination of experience will also be considered.
- 2 – 5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, production planning, or operational support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in ERP/MRP systems or willingness to learn.
- Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing operations and inventory concepts.
- Familiar with continuous improvement principles.
