Description:
Our client is currently seeking an Office Clerk to join their team. This is a part-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Receives, handles, logs, sorts and distributes all incoming mail.
- Collects, sorts, applies appropriate postage and sends all outgoing mail.
- Operates postage meter to stamp out-going mail according to class of mail and current rates
- Prepare packages for shipment by parcel service or other commercial delivery service.
- Prepares and maintains daily activity reports.
- Process, receive, store and fill supply orders.
- Copy and scan documents and notify supervisor of necessity of repairs to machines.
- May assist with main reception desk coverage including answering a multi-line telephone and greeting visitors.
Qualifications:
- Previous office experience is required.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
