Our client is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team.  This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform weekly and bi-weekly multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
  • Perform weekly check runs.
  • Calculate bonuses as requested as well as new hire pay, termination pay, and any other adjustments.
  • Process general ledger functions related to payroll including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 3+ years of Payroll experience is required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with prevailing wage calculations.
