Our client is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits.
- Perform weekly and bi-weekly multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
- Perform weekly check runs.
- Calculate bonuses as requested as well as new hire pay, termination pay, and any other adjustments.
- Process general ledger functions related to payroll including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- 3+ years of Payroll experience is required.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with prevailing wage calculations.
