Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Planning Associate to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Drafting of personalized financial plans for clients.
• Coordination of communications with clients to ensure accurate financial information.
• The creation of various documents such as, tax analyses, flow charts, and distribution spreadsheets.
• The creation and analyzation of Morningstar portfolios.
• Work in conjunction with the advisor to ensure their files are properly prepared before client meetings.
• Research of factors that may have an impact on client financial plans.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Must be FINRA Series 63 and FINRA Series 7 certified.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
• Pursuit or possession of an Applicable Advanced Degree is preferred.
• Advanced Interpersonal skills are a must.
• Maintenance of a high level of confidentiality.
• A License for NYS Health, Life, or Accident insurance is preferred.
