Description:

Our client is currently seeking a ­­­­Senior Environmental Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform environmental engineering analysis, design, and project management for planning, environmental site investigations, hazardous materials assessment, remediation design, remedial operations, site restoration, and new construction projects.
• Manage and conduct site investigations to observe, assess, and document existing conditions.
• Develop, review, and supervise project plans, design calculations, specifications, bid packages, design drawings, and technical documents; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality engineering services.
• Coordinate and present planning and design submissions to clients and environmental regulatory agencies.
• Resolve technical and contractual issues by providing effective project solutions.
• Apply technical and project management expertise across projects ranging from small site restorations to large-scale construction.
• Support business development by expanding services with existing clients, pursuing new opportunities, preparing proposals, and representing the firm at industry and networking events.
• Mentor, train, and develop junior engineering staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental engineering and/or environmental consulting.
• New York Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide, and develop junior engineers and scientists.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, hazardous materials management, and disposal requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
