Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Worker’s Comp Attorney. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Representation of injured workers before the Workers Compensation Board.
• Conducting of thorough legal research in support of active cases.
• Conduction of client intake.
• The drafting of various legal documents including rebuttals, appeals, briefs, etc.
• Attendance and argument of cases at hearings.
• Conduction of medical depositions.

Qualifications:

• NYS Bar Admittance is required.
• Experience in workers’ compensation and social security is a must.
• It is also preferred that a candidate has experience in direct client counseling and litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
