Description: Our client is currently seeking a Project Estimator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position.

Job Responsibilities:

· Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate understanding and execution of project requirements.

· Prepare competitive project bid estimates, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and complete bid package development.

· Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive database of vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to support procurement and bidding activities.

· Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate proposals with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms for goods and services.

· Coordinate with vendors and field teams to ensure material availability, timely deliveries, and consistent performance standards.

· Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment to support overall project planning and execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

· Practical experience in heavy/highway/sitework construction, either in the field or in a project support/office role.

· Solid understanding of quantity take-off and cost estimation methodologies.

· Proficiency with estimating software such as Estimating Link, Bid2Win, HeavyBid, or equivalent platforms.

· Familiarity with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and/or Bluebeam.

· Proven negotiation skills with vendors and subcontractors.

· Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across project teams.
