Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Professional Engineer (Civil) to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare and maintain civil engineering drawings and design plans in accordance with company CAD standards.
• Develop and draft subdivision, site development, roadway, utility, grading, stormwater, water and sewer, and onsite septic system projects.
• Provide drafting and project support to the Civil Engineering Department, with secondary support to the Land Survey Department.
• Prepare presentation drawings, exhibits, permit applications, agency submittals, and other project documentation.
• Conduct site visits, soil testing, and field evaluations as required.
• Perform construction inspections and monitor project progress as needed.
• Assist with report writing, field coordination, project scheduling, and other engineering-related activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support successful project planning and completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management and technical leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field, with an active New York State Professional Engineer License required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or similar engineering design software.
• Experience with civil site design, land development, stormwater management, utilities, grading, and onsite septic system design.
• Familiarity with local, county, and state permitting processes, including the preparation of agency applications and engineering reports.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working on multidisciplinary project teams.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established standards, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to conduct site visits, construction inspections, soil testing, and field coordination as needed
