Description:
Our client is currently seeking an Automation & Control Systems Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with incredible benefits.

Responsibilities Include:

• Establishment of control system architectures, strategies for machines, processes, and automation systems.
• Work alongside engineering teams.
• Develop, document, and implement software for control systems, including hands-on commissioning and debugging.
• Act as a point of contact for suppliers and customers.
• Travel as required for support services at customer facilities.
• The identification and rectification of control-related issues.
• Ensure the operations sections of maintenance manuals are consistently updated.
• Contribute to troubleshooting, project planning, and maintaining documentation for control systems.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in control systems engineering is preferred.
• Familiarity with programming commercial robots (ABB, Fanuc, Kuka) and designing electrical schematics; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent time and project management abilities.
• Skilled in MS Office Suite with a solid understanding of computer hardware, system architecture, and communications.
• Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, and a sense of urgency.
