Description:
Our client is currently seeking an Insulation Installer Pre-Lead to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities

• Installs and replaces insulation in buildings and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read job site instructions and executing job work scopes as indicated
• Measure and cut insulation before any installation, so it will properly cover surfaces in walls, floors and ceilings, and around heating and air conditioning units
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety.
• Transports needed tools and equipment to jobsite such as handsaws, tape measures, knives, scissors and power saws, as needed to prepare the insulation and jobsite for installation
• Follows company and industry safety guidelines and regulations
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and previous construction experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors throughout NY seasons.
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to kneel, lift 50-70 lbs, and climb ladders
• Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year.
