Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Nursing Instructor to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversight of students enrolled in the practical nursing program.
• Act as a mentor and a point of reference for the student body.
• Support the student body and coach them through intensive, skill-enhancing activity.
• Ensure the student body is engaged with their work, consistently evaluated, and develops at a strong rate.
• Make sure the student body works in compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Work with academic leaders within the department to assess the progress of the student body.
• Hold regular office hours to provide student advisement and actively participate in departmental and institutional academic committees.

Qualifications:

• Must have a master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution. Alternatively, a candidate with a bachelor’s degree seeking a master’s degree in nursing would be acceptable.
• 3+ years of RN experience in numerous clinical areas.
• An active New York Registered Nurse license.
• Must have CPR certification.
• Advanced written and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Advanced mentoring skills.
