Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Resident Care Director to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversight of new hires and the training/evaluation of LPNs.
• Ensure quality performance through the development and implementation of a quality assurance program.
• Maintain that residents are consistently having their health monitored.
• General oversight of the department budget.
• Set up training sessions and conduct staff meetings.
• Act as a point of reference for the staff and serve as a primary representative of the facility.
• Creation of a medication management program.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of progressive experience in a supervisory role at a facility dealing with a disabled or elderly population.
• A NYS Licensed Practical Nurse or a Registered Nurse preferred.
• Extremely strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
