Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Commercial Estimator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Draft estimates for commercial construction projects for its entire lifecycle.
• Estimation of pricing for equipment and labor.
• Estimate project scope and requirements through analyzation of project related documents.
• Ensure smooth quantity takeoffs.
• Processing of project bids.
• Work in conjunction with project leadership throughout pre-production.
• Work to reduce costs as possible.
• Oversee professional development junior estimators.
• Ensure the estimation team understands best project practices.
• Oversee and enter data into pricing databases.
• Attend and participate in project meetings.
• Remain updated on market conditions and prices of materials.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Proven experience estimating projects valued at a minimum of $5M.
• Strongly preferred that a candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Advanced experience with building systems and commercial construction methods.
• Advanced experience with estimation tools.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
