Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Controller to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee accounting operations, monthly and year-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash-flow management.
• Provide financial guidance to executive leadership, department leaders, and the Board.
• Manage grant reporting, restricted funds, and financial compliance.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and internal controls.
• Supervise finance staff and coordinate annual audits and regulatory filings.
• Improve accounting processes, financial systems, and reporting procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or financial management experience.
• Strong Controller-level experience in general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting, grants, restricted funds, and cost allocation.
• Experience supervising staff and preparing for audits.
• CPA designation preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
