Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversight of preventative and repair maintenance on facility systems.
• Manage building-related issues in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
• The identification of potential hazards or maintenance needs by way of routine facility inspections.
• Maintenance of an organized workspace.
• Ensure collection of timesheets.
• Manage work orders and ensure a swift turn around.
• Participation in weekly safety meetings and general compliance with safety standards.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in preventative and repair maintenance preferred.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Technical certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledgeable of building systems and facility operations.
• Must be able to safely operate tools.
• Must have a registered NYS driver’s license.

Hours & Benefits:

• M -F 8:30 AM -5:00 PM
