Description:
Our client is currently seeking a General Superintendent to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Act as the primary point of contact for jobsite superintendents, managing and assisting them with forecasting, scheduling, and assignment of manpower.
• Check in on project turnover, equipment requirements, and manpower status by way of meetings with project superintendents and various other team members on a consistent basis.
• Ensure the swift resolution of project-related conflicts & issues.
• Draft, implement, and enforce safety and quality control standards.
• Perform routine construction site visits.
• Assume jobsite superintendent responsibilities as required.
• Ensure that equipment and tools are functional and maintained.
• Work in conjunction with executives to ensure alignment on rollout for new processes/ procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must have 10+ years of experience in civil/ building construction.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing project managers.
• Proven experience overseeing quality control.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for extended periods of time.
• Thorough OSHA knowledge is required.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite.
