Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Heavy Civil Superintendent to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Act in a role of general leadership for on-site construction projects.
• Draft comprehensive work plans through drawings and submittals.
• Ensure the inventory of required materials for project completion is maintained.
• Ensure all safety standards are implemented and maintained at all times.
• Creation of a job hazard analysis.
• Act as a representative of the company, reflecting their values and professionalism.
• Maintain that subcontractors complete work in a timely manner.
• Ensure the highest possible quality is reflected in project completion.
• Collection of weekly timesheets.
• Maintain that labor hours are assigned to cost codes.

Qualifications:

• Must have 5-7 years of experience in civil construction.
• 1-3 years of experience in a leadership role is required.
• Proven experience with utilities, concrete work, and excavation is required.
• A 2–4-year college degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for extended periods of time.
• Thorough OSHA knowledge is required.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite.
