Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Vice President of Commercial Lending to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of lending professionals
• Drive sales performance, portfolio growth, and client acquisition initiatives
• Manage commercial loan portfolio quality, credit risk, and compliance
• Build relationships with clients, referral partners, and the community
• Structure, review, and approve commercial credit requests
• Partner across departments to deliver integrated banking solutions
• Develop and improve business banking policies and processes
• Monitor portfolio performance and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Travel as needed and attend occasional after-hours events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (advanced degree/banking school preferred)
• 7+ years of commercial/business banking experience
• 3+ years of leadership or team lead experience
• Strong credit analysis, loan structuring, and financial statement/tax return analysis
• Proven business development and portfolio management success
• Knowledge of banking regulations and risk management
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
