Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Residential Drafter to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of designs for residential homes.
• Ensure a thorough structural analysis.
• Production and review of construction drawings.
• Assist in cost estimation by way of partial working drawings.
• Ensure drawings are in compliance with all building codes and practices.
• Ensure processing of permit applications.
• Ensure files are thoroughly organized.

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of single-family residential project experience.
• Must have experience with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Javelin.
• Experience with the construction of detached single family residentials.
• Experience as a superintendent, builder, or project manager is preferred.
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Working knowledge New York State codes and guidelines.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
