Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Associate Financial Advisor to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Schedule and attend client meetings in a support role, ensuring smooth communication between advisors and clients.
• Review and analyze client financial data, utilizing both proprietary and commercial financial planning tools.
• Assist in the creation of comprehensive financial plans, including data gathering, recommendations, implementation, and ongoing portfolio management.
• Track the progress and implementation of recommended wealth management strategies.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships through regular communication and proactive outreach.
• Provide client service, including updates, portfolio reviews, data collection, and identification of new opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in the insurance, investment, or financial planning industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• Series 7 and 66/63 are required.
• NYS Life, Accident, & Health insurance is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and professional interactions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems and financial planning software.
• Solid understanding of financial planning processes, including investment strategies, portfolio management, and insurance solutions.
• Ability to build strong client relationships, providing tailored solutions and ongoing support.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
