Description:

Our client is currently seeking an Outpatient Clinical Therapist to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients ages 5+ with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and crisis support as needed.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation in compliance with OMH and OASAS requirements.
• Collaborate with medical providers and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• New York State licensure required: LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R. Candidates with an MSW or MHC degree will also be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in mental health and/or addiction treatment.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 disorders and substance use disorders.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficient computer and EHR skills.
