Description:

Our client is currently seeking a ­­­­Senior Labor and Employment Attorney to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage labor and employment matters from initial consultation through resolution, including litigation, administrative proceedings, and employment counseling.
• Draft and review employment agreements, policies, handbooks, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including workplace policies, employee relations, and risk management.
• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations while advocating for their best interests.
• Conduct legal research, analyze complex employment law issues, and develop effective legal strategies.
• Maintain regular client communication and manage case deadlines to ensure efficient handling of all matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services and achieve successful client outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active state bar license.
• 7+ years of labor and employment law experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex employment matters and meet critical deadlines.
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms, case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
