Description:

Our client is currently seeking an Associate Attorney. This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities Include:

• Consulting with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case.
• Conducting research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts as sources.
• Drafting, reviewing, and advising legal texts, including reports, contracts, and appeals.
• Representing clients at meetings, hearings, and trials.
• Ensuring that data obtained during interactions with clients remain confidential and are stored securely.
• Advise clients with legal recommendations and strategies.
• Increasing business development responsibilities to bring revenue and build clientele.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor and NYS Bar Admittance are required.
• 1-2+ years of experience practicing law.
• Exceptional contract drafting skills are a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
