Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Production Operator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Make sanitary connections that enable the flow of process and cleaning (CIP) of process equipment.
• Manually hand-clean process sanitary equipment (sanitary piping, sanitary sampling devices, and sanitary syringe ports) and perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Off-load bulk cleaning chemicals; handle and stage drums with detergents/sanitation agents for the CIP separators and filling machines.
• Operate a heavy-duty forklift for transportation.
• Operate packaging machines to load items into cases and palletize cases.
• Follow all regulations, standards, and company policies regarding OSHA, etc.
• Follow all safety rules and policies set forth by the company.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Experience with CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems and sanitary processing equipment are preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification required.
• Ability to safely handle and stage bulk cleaning chemicals and sanitation agents.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting filling and packaging machinery.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Working knowledge of  OSHA, and other safety/regulatory requirements preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including overtime as needed.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Hours & Benefits:

• Monday-Friday 3^rd Shift 10:45 PM to 6:45 AM
