Our client is currently seeking a ­­­­Certified Recovery Peer Advocate to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide peer support, mentoring, outreach, and recovery services to clients.
• Assist clients with referrals and connections to treatment, MAT services, mutual aid groups, and community resources.
• Support clients through treatment screening, admission, and engagement.
• Provide transportation to treatment or community services when needed.
• Maintain accurate client progress notes and documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Participate in community outreach and education activities.
• Build relationships with community agencies and referral partners.
• Participate in supervision and other required meetings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OASAS-approved Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) certification.
• Demonstrated stability in recovery and commitment to the recovery community.
• Previous experience as a CRPA preferred.
• Understanding of person-centered recovery and client self-determination.
• Strong communication, listening, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
