Description:

Our client is currently seeking an Employment Law Attorney to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:

• Review employment-related claims and conduct initial case investigations.
• Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and review relevant documents.
• Draft and file legal documents, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients at hearings, trials, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Qualifications:

• Must be admitted to the New York State Bar and the Northern District of New York federal court, as needed.
• Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a large caseload and meet multiple deadlines.
• Prior employment law and litigation experience preferred.
• Must be located within the New York Capital Region due to required legal proceedings.
