Description:
Do you have 5-8 years of human resource experience? Our client is currently seeking a Human Resource Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
• Assist in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct new employee orientation, insurance enrollment, and process terminating and retiring employees.
• Maintains employee records and provides information and assistance to employees concerning benefits and disability programs.
• Assists in recruiting, interviewing, and screening applicants for job vacancies.
• Process employee benefit applications and requests for disability leave, FMLA, COBARA, retirement, death, and other special situations.
• Reviews and disposes of paperwork according to federal guidelines.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Research and recommend changes to benefit contracts and negotiate those contracts with providers.
Qualifications:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field.
• 5-8 years of human resource related experience, with 3+ years as a HR Manager.
• SHRM certification is preferred.
• Proficient in calculating figures and amounts and applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, payroll systems, and human resource systems.
• Experience with payroll and QuickBooks is a plus.
