Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Payroll/Benefits Associate to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities Include:
• Process daily timesheets and produce weekly paychecks for employees.
• Process new hires, reconcile payroll, and ensure payroll complies with polices and procedures.
• Pay weekly taxes, 401k contributions, child support, and more.
• File quarterly payroll taxes and prepare year-end W-2s.
• Update annual union wage increases and benefits, and perform union audits.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
• At least 2 years of experience with payroll or in a similar accounting field.
• Knowledge of payroll systems, regulations, and practices is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, is required.
• Strong time management, organizational, and communicative abilities are required.
