Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to join their leadership team and lead their Human Resources department. The Director of HR will play a pivotal role in shaping their organizational culture, driving employee engagement, and fostering talent development initiatives to support their company’s growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead the recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring the acquisition of top talent to support business needs. Develop effective onboarding programs and talent management strategies to maximize employee performance and potential.
  • Employee Engagement: Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and engagement. Foster a positive work environment and culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms. Implement strategies to recognize and reward high-performing employees.
  • Learning and Development: Develop and implement learning and development programs to support employee skill development and career advancement. Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • HR Operations: Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and effectively communicated to employees.
  • Culture and Values: Champion the company’s mission, vision, and values, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and respect throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in the field service industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results and support organizational growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Experience leading change management initiatives and driving organizational culture transformation.
  • SHRM Certification preferred.
